Demo all the way
Get a Demo.I`ve had the pleasure of riding both of these bikes,and the Demo kicks arse for sure!My buddy Chet twisted the swingarm on his RMX on it`s 6th ride.Granted,he goes bigger than a lot of people,but nonetheless,that swingarm style on the RMX just ain`t lookin too tuff.But on the otherhand,Simmons and Vanderham go huge on these.Yeah but they get new rides whenever they need it.Your choice,I say Demo.

ok truthfully, i dont think newby is good enough to notice the difference between the 2 bikes and none of those bikes will make a significaqnt difference to his riding performance. Chances are, hes gettin one of those bikes to ride over to his friends house and make his friend feel like an ass cause he doesnt have that kind of bike. I'd say just look into like a bighit or something...its not a bad bike at all

Hey Newb, since these guys are being pretty harsh on your ass, I'd suggest posting on the forum dedicated to "Which crap-vs-which crap." You won't get that bs there.
Anyways, I ride an RMX, and I like the high BB height cause it clears anything on any trail, and the Demo is kind of long, but it really depends on what you're going to be riding. I think the high ride height on the RMX is something you have to get into appreciating, like an acquired taste, but since neither the Demo 9 (not the 8) or the RMX is a racing bike, that shouldn't terribly affect cornering, etc.
