I'm up in Tahoe that weekend. Please post the next session though, I'd like to make a trailwork day.

I am doing one good thing for Demo. Staying away from it...

Kyle, the next work day after this one is April 16th.

Dan, here's the text we always send out explaining the gig:

With the above normal rainfall in recent weeks, it is crucial that we
get back out and continue our trail maintenance efforts in Soquel
Demonstration Forest. Our volunteer trail work efforts keep the
Demonstration Forest trails open as some of the best riding in the Bay Area. This is a a great opportunity to give back to the trails and keep them in great riding shape
for the next year. We welcome your involvement, especially if you have
yet to participate in our trail work efforts at the Demonstration
Forest.

We are meeting at the parking lot on Highland, across the steel bridge
at 8:30 AM on Sunday, April 2nd. Given current conditions, we will most likely
hike in to the work site. If the trails dry out a little bit more we might ride bikes and tow bob trailers with tools in them to the work site. You should bring long pants and sleeves,
plenty of water, and lunch or a snack you can carry with you on the trail,
and hiking shoes/boots. I will bring work gloves to loan if you have
none. The Stewards of Soquel Forest will provide coffee and something
for your sweet tooth. Our start time is 9:00am, and we will work until
mid-afternoon. From there, some will go for a ride, and some will go home and be couch potatoes the rest of the day.

Please sign up at http://www.trailworkers.com/volunteer.cfm so we know
how many tools to bring, or email me if you have any
questions.

TRAILWORK CANCELED

due to rain and roads that are so muddy we don't want to drive on them to get to the trailwork site.
