I hope someone will be able to answer this question. How come a medium demo 8 feels smaller than the medium demo 9? I've heard that the wheelbases are diferent but wasn't sure if this is true or if there is another reason. Thanks, any input would be great.

one is more for racing and the other is more for hucking. you see the demo 8 has a different geo than he 9 for spefic reasons.chicago said:

the 8 is more for racing but people use the 8 for freeriding as well bc its light.

Youwere spot on about everything but the wheel bases. The D9 and D8 are exactly the same.MTBSully said:

when the DEMO8 Pro first came out i compared it to my DEMO9 Pro and the DEMO8 was shorter. technically they cant be the same length. the front triangle is shorter on the DEMO8 and the DH40 spec'd on the DEMO8 has a shorter A/C height than a 888, so really it shouldnt be the same.
