installed a 06 pike 426.
hooked up the remote pop loc.
the compression knob was real hard to turn, like it was stripped.
turning the compression knob, it started to back out of control handle.
no compression adjustment what so ever.
only thing that works is the full on lock.
any advise on if it's defective?

The poploc knob just controls how far back the lever stops when you release it. So it is like holding the lever part way down in the rest position.

You prolly need to adjust the cable, and try adjusting the poploc knob while holding the lever down.

This happened to me on my new Fisher Supercal 29er...on it's maiden voyage! Sucks, but I think it should be covered under warranty...I haven't done anything about mine yet though.
