Rode Deer Creek tonight; it's has a few icy spots in the shady areas, but it's all ridable. Plymouth Mountain loop is good and the Wall is dry. The lower trail to the Wall is hammered from horses using it when it was muddy, but that's pretty normal. We didn't have enough time to ride Red Mesa, but I suspect it's good to go also. The trail has had some rerouting done on the lower switchbacks (before the Wall) and the USUK Staircase is definitely the FAST, FAST, FAST way down the Wall; it's got a really nice rythm. Can't wait to see the user conflict there on a busy summer weekend.

Sidenote: It was the shakedown run for the Dub's Evil Imp. and he's loving it!

Rode the whole trail today. It's all good, still a few slushy spots but all ridable. Deer Creek is a great trail to let you know how fit you are, or aren't, as in my case.

Of course it's raining as I type this and it supposed to turn to snow at elevations over 6500ft so this trail update may be a moot point tomorrow.
