i dont need anything thats cutting edge technology and i also do not want to break the bank here.. BUT at the same time i dont wanna buy a piece of crap on a random guess..

goin on a trip.. will probably get caught out at dusk/dark a few times.. looking to be seen AND hopefully see a bit of the road ahead of me..

anyone got any advice/input for this beginner?

Check out the Cateye range of LED headlights and tailights.

I am using the EL600 as the tailight - very bright and the EL400 as a flasher headlight to be seen together with the EL500 II halogen bulb version as a main beam.
