If your hellbent on the big three brands you might be out of luck since 10' stock is probably slim pickins. I would look online for some great deals on other bikes, there are a lot of good websites out there. If your worried about dealer service of your new bike then buy from a shop otherwise save some money and buy online.

I know trek have a sale this weekend, 10% off all new bikes, which brings their ex 5 down to 1500 ish, that would be good if my tax refund had come before this Friday just gone =/

So.... I have to miss out on it.

You could try Bike America, they sell Trek, GT and others. They were willing to work with me on price and they have lifetime service with their bikes. I was looking for a hard tail when I was shopping so I didn't pay much attention to if they had FS bikes or not.

After you add in your local sales tax you really aren't saving that much.

No, what I'm saying is that their service staff is fairly useless. They may give you free lifetime tuneups, but they have no clue what they're doing.
lol fair enough..

im prolly getting a Ebay bike now anyway... Roscoe 2 for 1200 bucks!
