The store must contact their sales rep at Iron Horse (it's either Alex or Brad) and they can help them. I have no control over individual accounts or shipments. This will be the quickest and most efficient way to handle this.

The sales rep is Alex, and he called and left a msg, supposedly alex is out right now doing clinics. My bike was "supposed" to ship over a month agao and again when the shop recieved their sundays.ska todd said:The store must contact their sales rep at Iron Horse (it's either Alex or Brad) and they can help them. It sounds like your beef is with your LBS not Iron Horse. I would tell your LBS they either 1} deliver your paid for bike to you in {insert how much longer you are willing to wait. In my case, it would be 3 more days} or 2} refund the money. If they don't produce the bike you can 1} go buy yourself a 7.7 off the shelf and 2} find yourself another LBS to do business with. Good luck.snowskilz said:The sales rep is Alex, and he called and left a msg, supposedly alex is out right now doing clinics. All i want to know is when its coming whether it be a week or never. I really need a bike thats pedalable and strong enough to take some decent drops. Supergo has the bikes in stock so why doesnt this store? it was ordered back in december paid for in January(i know that is the bike shops deal but everytime its supposed to ship for some reason it doesnt)
sadly enough its with ironhorse, on 2 different dates they were supposed to of shipped the bike. it still hasnt shipped. Supergo has them, epic cycles has them but i dont have mine. The shop i am dealing with recieved a 7point3 but no 7point7COMMITTED said:It sounds like your beef is with your LBS not Iron Horse. their rep is not in right now so they cant get an answer i would hope IH would step up and help a brother outMMcG said:Sounds like your LBS needs to step up to the plate and get a little more aggressive with IH to get you your bike.
This is why I have crossed Iron Horse off my list of ever doing business with them. They may have a great product, but they appear to be such a poorly run company, I wouldn't trust them.snowskilz said:sadly enough its with ironhorse, on 2 different dates they were supposed to of shipped the bike. it still hasnt shipped. Wow, that's a seriously harsh judgement without knowing the facts of this instance.Jack Hass said:This is why I have crossed Iron Horse off my list...
I still say that his beef is with his LBS, it just doesn't make any sense that everyone else has their bikes EXCEPT his LBS. Maybe they took his money and used it to pay other distributors and still owe IH and can't get the bike shipped until they get up to date. Is that IH's fault? Before you start ripping on IH, check out when most companies shipped their bikes this year, everyone was waiting on components from asia and it delayed everyones bikes.Jack Hass said:Putting out your 2005 line in March of 2005 and not sending bikes to people that paid is regoddamdiculis
That's another good point! I don't know about 2005 specifically, but in years past, everyone's low end stuff begins showing up as early as late August and early September, but I specifically recall waiting for dealers to receive high-end Giants, Fishers and Jamis bikes well into March. That seems to be the nature of the industry.cruso414 said:Before you start ripping on IH, check out when most companies shipped their bikes this year...
As far as I know, all the companies are waiting on El caminos yet, and I thought the Sic 1.5 stems were behind too. This may have cleared up recently, but do you want the bike you payed for, or would you be just as happy if they substituted items that are currently obtainable. It's a difficult call for the bike companies to make. Especially since every customer probably has a different answer. BTW, hurry up with my MKIII Expert, it's paid in full too!!!Speedub.Nate said:That's another good point! IH isn't the only one not shipping bikes yet. Lots of people still waiting on Intense, Giant, Turner, Specialized, Santa Cruz, Titus...Jack Hass said:This is why I have crossed Iron Horse off my list of ever doing business with them. The problem is not the LBS if it was i would call up my cc and get my money back. Originally the shop asked for all of their order to ship together. The sunday had a recall so they then asked them to ship the rest (7points porters etc) so ironhorse shipped the shop a 7point3 and some porters. So i asked wheres my bike. The shop called and ih had ran out of them (which is very understandable) and would have them in at the same time as the new and improved sundays came in. Well the new sundays arrived tuesday and my 7point7 didnt. So i asked them to call ih. Well the answer they got was that they dont know. Their sales person is not in right now and they are not sure when they are going to get more bikes in. They are currently out of stock of the size complete i want. Soooo thats why i turned to here hoping ska todd or dante could help out and find me an answer.cruso414 said:I still say that his beef is with his LBS, it just doesn't make any sense that everyone else has their bikes EXCEPT his LBS. Yes, its been called in and they are waiting for more then just my bikeSpeedub.Nate said:On the other hand:
- do we know the bike shop didn't screw up the order?
- do we whether the bike shop has a previous unpaid debt to settle with IH? (did the Sunday's ever arrive?)

you obviously dont understand supply demand and the JIT theory. If all bikers felt the way you did, foes, intense, santa cruz and many other companies would be under.Jack Hass said:This is why I have crossed Iron Horse off my list of ever doing business with them. i am very much a fan of ironhorse. They make a stellar product i have had ridden 4 different models of their bikes and all were above my expectations. I just want to know where my darn bike is
This is all just BS. The guy just wants his bike. Give it to him!!!snowskilz said:you obviously dont understand supply demand and the JIT theory. If all bikers felt the way you did, foes, intense, santa cruz and many other companies would be under.
