Yeah, I talked to a couple hikers about M/W, the consensus is that it is definitely more muddy than Dakota. It also visibly has more snow than the Ridge also.av_boy said:Dakota Ridge is completely ridable...
However, I recommend only in the morning for a while. There was a lot of muddy sections, and soon to be muddy sections once the snow and slush give way to the mud.
Based on the condition of DR I went ahead and rode the road back from the red rocks entrance.

I haven't ridden it yet, but talked to a couple of dudes yesterday afternoon who were literally covered in mud -- they had just done Dakota and it is not ready for a non-frozen ride yet!dudebeers said:Rode it Monday aftrernoon.
