A small group of us headed up the McKenzie river today to ride Ollalie trail, and do a bit of hike a bikin' up to the HorsePasture mtn. Amazing views from this 5,660' summit. This trail will entertain you with a paved, and now partial gravel road climb, about 8 miles from the bottom. Then a singletrack climb up to 5660', some of which is "brail trail" but at least half of the 1.5 mile section is rideable. The descent down Olallie was smooth, buttery smooth and so fast. There are a few hairpin turns to watch for, and only a few cleanable switchbacks that make up this screamin' descent to the lower trailhead.
