After putting this off for eons, I am going to get some custom orthotics. I know I need them; my at-home-do-it-yourself wedges have had a noticeable impact on my skiing. With the added intricacies of cleat placement (another pretty much ad-hoc installation of mine) I want to get it done right for cycling. Does anybody know of anybody that specializes in fitting orthotics specifically for cyclists in the Boise area? Thanks!

My wife got orthotics made by Carrie Whitted who is associated with the Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital. She's very happy with the orthotics but they're not ones she wears to cycle. I think Carrie has a focus on sports medicine so she might be able to help. PM me if you want her contact info - I'd have to dig it out of the files.
