i cant post all the details yet as things are totally settled, in time i will tho. what i will say is that companies that provide good service get my return business thus far i have had some great customer service from Northwave shoes: www.northwave.com and someone there named Clint.

in the midst of some not so great customer service from another company that when resolved i will relate the story.

if you are considering new shoes then take a look at the northwave brand.

Anyone have any experience with Northwave winter mtb shoes? The web site above has almost no info - the Fahrenheit and Celsius models appear to be winter shoes, but I can't tell with the Avalanche.
