i bought a new un-used THE fender from a friend to use on my bike. i put it on and wasnt happy with its looks plus the fact i couldnt see the front tire.(i know its there to block mud ;) )

so i took the fender and some lexan scissors and started cutting. i also decided to give it a paint job as the "graphite" look didnt work on my bike. im using lexan paint so it wont chip off.

heres a pic of it new and on my bike,to big imo. :



here it is after i cut it down and reshaped it. i also masked off the "T.H.E." decal.





ill get some pics up after i finish with the paint.

I mount the longer "front" section on the rear for more protection and the short "rear" up front (if at all). Works fine. I tend not to look at the front tire while riding. Increases crashes dramatically.
