Rit dye doesn't take well to lexan polycarbonates. Usually nylon and most other types of plastic will work better. At best, you'll likely get some tinting. Lexans usually work better with specially formulated paints, but those chip off quite easily when used on a bashguard.

It does work extremely well on the older style MRP rollers! I dyied some Black and other colors and they are still that same color. It worked well, not sure a bashring would take it though
