you have got a nice budget so this should be easy. first question, full suspension or hardtail? hardtail will naturally be significantly cheaper.
Custom bike-What frame?
Hi im new to mountain biking im only 16 and the bike i have got now (a piece of s*** Saracen ) cant realy take much abuse and i am into single track and a bit of downhill. I was wanting to build a bike for around £1500 and was wondering what frame i should get. I was looking at a 2005 Orange MsIsle just wondering what your thoughts were or any other decient frame.

I'm after a realy decent hard tail that can withstand a fair bit of abuse but still fairly light.
Orange makes great bikes...
One thing to consider: At 16, you may still have another 7-9 years growing to do. Any bike that you purchase now may be too small in a couple of years. Then again, that's a great reason to get a another new bike....
