I have a 2017 Farley 9.8, and would love to throw a set of XC 29er wheels and tires on it for summer. Anyone know of any options? I'm not really interested in plus, thinking around 30mm internal width. The hub spacing is150 front, and 197 rear.

Thanks!

I have the same specs. I'm planning on building up my own wheelset, especially considering the deal I found on hubs:.

I was able to get front and rear hub for less than $70.

Edit: sorry wrong link but it's the correct website for both hubs.

These guys have several options, mostly budget kind of stuff.

These guys seem to offer what you're looking for. I've never used them, however, so this isn't an endorsement.

Colorado Cyclist and Universal Cycles both do custom wheels as well, please see the following links:

Lastly, Framed Bikes also has 29er wheelsets for fat bikes in stock on rare occasions.

If you want something off the shelf plenty of options have been posted. That said, if these are "summer shoes" that will see more miles I say stretch the pocket books and go full custom with decent to great hubs. I had @mikesee build me a custom Plus set that is amazing and has nearly seen as many miles this past summer as my bike did in it's last 3 winters. Worth every penny.

If you are going 29 and not 29+ then the hardest thing to find will be the hubs. In plus sizes tires and rims start to get a bit more scarce as well, but they are all out there, especially on the shelves of a wheel builders workshop.
