Hi all,

Are XT CS-M760 sprockets from Aq and As groups interchangeable?

Namely, I've got a new 760 cassette with 11as-12aq-13as-15as- & 18->32aq spider

Shifting is odd from 11-12 can't get the chain to shift to 12 and adjusting of deraillour is somewhat difficult - works on larger sprockets though. I can't tell if it is due to cassette.

Has anyone interchanged these without problems?

The shift ramps are not clocked between groups, so if you mix as and aq the shift ramps won't align, so it will shift less efficiently.

How did you wind up with that odd mix in one cassette?

Thanks - I bought it at the LBS.

Their pricing was good, and I didn't check the marks prior to installing.
