Anyone seen these for less than $730 anywhere?
Did you try looking in classifieds here? Every few days or once a week or so I see a set of new or almost new Crossmax SLs, usualy at much better price than $730 or $699... I bought a set about half a year ago this way for $600, if I remember correctly, and that was a brand new take-off from a Spec. Epic, with new XT rotors, and Roll-X tires.
If you're not too impatient, and unless it has to be from a store, if I were you I'd look through mtbr classifieds, and check the new ones daily, and you'll find a good deal for sure.

XXcycles has them for about US$675 + shipping (and they ship to Australia). Their shipping costs are reasonable but not cheap, but this may not apply to wheels. Shipping is often the deal killer when buying rims or wheelsets from overseas.
Rear ($360): http://www.xxcycle.com/cgi-bin/shop.pl?Screen=detail&REF=2748
Front ($313): http://www.xxcycle.com/cgi-bin/shop.pl?Screen=detail&REF=2747

This seems to be for the non-disc versions, add about $15 if you want a front disc, and $30 for the rear.
