Just picked up a 'barely' used set of 2010 crossmax sx's and wondering if there's any routine maintenance I should do before putting them on the bike. Any known issues with this wheelset?

Also wanting to put single ply maxxis ardent/advantage on tubeless with stan's and was concerned about how well they'd work out as they're not tubeless tires. Really liking them on current (tubed) wheels and want to try them out on the crossmax.

check the pawls, make sure everything is clean and lubed. go have fun!

UST beads are not good for converting regular tires to tubeless without a rim strip.

I have UST Mavic rims 823 and 819 ,I use on both non UST tires with Stan´s selant I never had any problem.:thumbsup:
