Hi
I bought a Specialized Tricross in March, which is a lot of fun and very comfy. I did not have any buyers remorse at all until I saw a Cross Check in June while on vacation in Vermont.
It is most definately going to be my next bike.
It will most definately not take place for two years, however, mainly because I enjoy being married.
In the meantime, would anyone be kind enough to send me pictures of your Cross Check just so I can see.
Thanks,
Kevin

Took some pics on this evening's ride with this thread in mind. Sorry for the poor quality, my camera is garbage.

It is certainly a fine ride. Gets me to work everyday, and I take it out in Rothrock state forest for some play time occasionally. The build shown here is just the stock QBP complete bike with the addition of some SKS fenders, and SPD 520 pedals.

I have full fenders on there now. I need to take some new pictures. Great bike for commuting and light tours. Plan ahead when you do your build. Last fall I bought the last 54" complete, and the framesets were all sold out.

I can't seem to get my pics to load, even after resizing. Must be something simple I'm not doing. Anyone have any ideas? I'm using iphoto 08.
I do not know how you are doing it, but I'll try to help. You need a picture hosting website to link the pictures to as this forum will not host the pictures. I use Photobucket, http://photobucket.com/, it's free to sign up and they will host many pics for you to use around the internet.

In Photobucket, once you have registered, you click on the upload button and it will ask you what files you want uploaded. When the files have finished uploading, click on "return to album" and go back to your album where all your pics are. On the bottom of each picture is a link, just copy it and paste it into your post.

Most sites will only allow certain formats of pictures such as .jpg, .gif, .ijpg, .bmp. Check with your picture host and see what format they support.

Hope I helped,
Ian

Here are a few pics of my 54cm Cross Check. It was my first build, so I'm pretty proud of it. I've been riding it for a couple of years and its been through various build-ups. These pics are from its current Monstercross-Commuter build.
