I have a set on my Gary Fisher Rig, and they do work very well. If the Elixir R's do not work on the Pug, I will take the BB7's from the Rig and put them on the Pug. I do not have a bike with hydro's yet and I would love to try them! I work at a bike shop, so I have to do some product familiarization!velopax said:I prefer BB7s, with them no probs at all at any condition, that's why they are so popular on
many Fat Bikes, and they work very good
+1 on elixirs. I've had nothing but good luck with mine. build looks good, enjoy your pugs.davesauvageau said:Haha too bad, already got them! I only have brakes and wheels left. I am riding in cold Fargo, ND also. I've heard Elixirs hold up well in cold. What do you guys think?
I got a badass deal on the Gore shift kit at work, so that's why I opted for that. Also, this is my first bike with gears! Haha I have a 29er singlespeed, a BMX and a fixed, so this is my first chance to experience something other than that one sweet speed.newskoolbiker said:I love the Gore housing on my trail bikes, but seams like a waste on a bike with full length housing.
Sorry, 18 inch.SDmfG said:My only criticism would be that Surly doesn't make a 17" pugsley.![]()
