The CB area has been on the receiving end of some much needed moisture and looks like that is forecast into the near future. Not raining all day but some real good storms moving through. Plan accordingly. There are no campgrounds in the vicinity of CB that have any more than a toilet for amenities. Plan on riding early or late.
As Bigwheel said, you're not gonna find any camping with amenities unless you stay in Almont or further south. Along Gothic Rd. N. of the biolab would be convenient for 401. There is no camping convenient to town. Closest would be to camp along Slate River Rd. near the old bridge. That way you ride ~2 miles of singletrack (Lower Loop) to get back to town, instead of driving. Have a great trip,
Gothic for 401, kebler pass is great, near **** trail, cement creek near reno-flag-bear and the road going towards (forgot the name, where the skyland golf course is) ferris creek, strand hill, teocalli, dear creek, double top has some camping a little further up
