I'm in

My buddy Zach and I are coming in form NC/SC to represent hillbilly style. Meeting up with some CO friends along the way. Looking forward to it, CB is probably my favorite place I've ever ridden.

We're gonna hit Monarch Crest on Thursday, maybe Reno/Flag/Bear/Dead Mans Friday and the Race Sat. At least that's the plan.

You camping? Hosteling? Posh resorting?

i'm in for sure, heading up to cb for a month on the 1st. i lived there for years before becoming a new mexican and had a blast the first year it was put on. i skipped it last year to watch bike racing on tv and regreted it....duh.

the first year there were 20 people, last year about 50, this year could be 100, who knows? i know at least a dozen folks from nm who are threatening to go up. there is a 100 miler in breck that same day that is part of a rocky mtn enduro points series. that will probably attract the more serious racers.

anyhow, if anyone is interested and wants to preride any of the course i'd be happy to show folks around. send me a pm if interested. there is also a thread on the enduro board with more info.

Nice....I thought I heard rumor Broussard was heading out. I've ridden with him a few times in TN and Pisgah.

Carol Ann(who you probably know) and I aren't exactly sure where we'll stay IF we finally decide to go...we're waffling a bit.

We'll likely either camp or just sleep in the car somewhere. We'll get in friday afternoon and leave sunday morning...if it all works out!

We'll see.

Yep, Broussard is coming. Now if we could only convince him that 29ers don't suck. He's so anti-trendy that I'm afraid he'll never come over to the big wheels. He won't even try out my Wily.
