I don't really know the details, but I'm putting together a school bike team for Sea Otter possible. Terra Linda Trojans Biking. It would simply be for biking....we would have a tent in the parking lot, knock beats all day, grill up some burgers...and cheeeeeeeeeeeeel....

Also I make websites, I made my site:

Hey d00d. On the website tip. Good software does not a good designer make. It's just like riding, a sick bike might facilitate some more cool stuff, but it's not going to make you a good rider.

I think you probably just need to register your team at the beginning of the race season with your local series or something. Probably something with Norba as well, I'm not sure. PM snowskilz or bpatterson about it as they started up our team.

Good software gets you in the door. The site I made was created by me and is UBER basic....(At it only needs to be)

me and vp jackal are already sponcered by 661, which is a minimum... but who do you "call" or what website do you go on to put your stuff in

whats the first thing to do, make a website??
I'd say for the first season don't get too ambitious with the sponsorships and such. Maybe just print up some jerseys, create a clean web site, run your races and get a full season under the team's belt. Get the name out there. Then send the race results around to the sponsors. This way you have a whole season to tweak the web site, and decide which direction the team's going. You also may want to consider recruiting some of the (cough) 'more mature' (aka old) riders. Those are the guys with the money that can carry you for a year or two until you get settled.
