A couple weeks ago I was contacted by Anthony Flynn, co-founder of California based You Bar. Anthony has a very unique company providing consumers the ability to create their own nutrition bars. You can read my review here.

I was curious to know if anyone else knows of any companies providing a similar service or if you take anything along for rides as a snack that isn't mainstream (Cliff Bars, Power Bars, etc.)

I have a buddy who used to make his own by mixing supplement powders with normal brownie mix. They ruled! He had it figured out some way to keep the sugar down also.

I think this is a good idea, but you still need to contend with things which do not readily digest such as milk and eggs.

Good start though.
