Creaks and moans on Jokers?

I've got some serious creaking on my Joker, and it's mostly when I climb and do slow XC riding. It is really loud when I slightly brake around a small corner then have to pedal out. Almost sounds like springy. I've inspected the frame and nothing is visually wrong. Is this the Romic or the pivot? I tighten everything, and I have even taken apart my pivot, threw some bearing lube in there. I did notice the drive side pivot bearing is a little loose.. The noise will go away for a bit, then come back some time later. I don't hear it going downhill or while coasting. Has anyone else experienced this?? Is this an echo from the rear disc? I had the Romic replaced once due to a manuf problem with the compression adjuster. Other than the noise, which bugs me, the bike rides great...

Crankset/bottom bracket? Mine (Isis) is creaking when I climb or apply power. I figure it's the bottom bracket and/or cranks. Isn't bugging me too much yet, so I haven't tried to fix it.

It's a different noise than a BB creak. It happens when I pedal, apply rear brake, and then the suspension activates after a pedal stroke. Weird, but hard to explain.. Thanks though, I'll check it out anyway.

When mine would start creaking it was the top pivot bolt. Not sure what year your's is, but the older models used a small diameter bolt for the pivot bolts and they frequently bent which caused the creak. The big "tubes" on that frame make it echo and louder which makes it harder to pin-point the location also.
