I have a frame I'd like to replace under the crash replacment program that specialized offers. How does it work? The frame has a dent in the down tube.

Easy as 1 2 3 4

1. Take bike to specialized dealer, show them the damage.

2. Dealer calls S and tells them what they see.

3. S tells dealer what your options are. IE (We can send him a new 09 hardrock frame for 200 bucks, or a Stumpjumper frame for 500. )

4. Dealer tell's you your options and you decide.

Sounds good to me. So it doesn't have to be something that broke on the frame? Just making sure.

i am pretty sure the frame has to be deemed structurally unsafe, i dont think they will just replace a dented frame.

Just fyi, called the shop and was told it just has to be something that is available through specialized. It's pretty much a trade in program that that hardly anyone uses. The frame can even be from another manufacturer and in perfect condition.
