Hi,

Sierra Trading Post has this ad for Crank Bros Egg Beaters Pedals for $59.95. I cannot figure out from their ad text which particular model they can anyone help? They mention "high-strenght stainless steel body". does this make them the s or sl mopel? The support people on the phone were little help stating that this is all the info the manufacturer gave them and that they are a closeout 2005 year model. Any help would be appreciated.

Revolutionary "egg beater" design makes these Crank Brothers pedals supremely easy to clip into. Four-sided design allows for multiple engagement options. Extremely light due to the airy, but strong design that also assists in clearing mud.
Compatible with standard SPD® shoes
Use only Egg Beater cleats (included) with Egg Beater pedals
6-degree rotational float
Large contact area
High-strength stainless steel body
Length: 4"
Weight: 10.2 oz. pr.
Recommended for mountain bike use
Closeouts. Taiwan.

They look like the original Eggbeaters (1st generation, discontinued) 2002 or 2003 model year
The original Eggbeaters are similiar to the Eggbeater SL except slightly heavier. But lighter than the Eggbeater C. In terms of range they are somewhere between the SL and C's

in stock now?

Just completed an order on these pedals from SierraTP a few minutes ago.

FYI, afterwards in the confirmation e-mail, the list of stuff I ordered called these "CRANK BROTHERS EGG BEATER SL MTB PEDAL ASST". They were in stock (but said "almost gone!"), so hopefully no problem w/ the order. Also had a dealflyer e-mail from STP for 30% off. Pedals were $41.96. Deal.
