Cracked Sugar 2+ Rear Triangle

I was cleaning my 2002 Sugar 2+ and noticed that the rear triangle is cracked. I know that the Sugar 2+ is no longer in production so I was curious if anyone has recently made a warranty claim on the Sugar 2+ and how did Fisher take care of the problem.

A few months back a riding buddy cracked his and they gave him a Sugar race frame.
I think they gave John a frame because where he broke the frame. I am going to LBS today to see what Fisher will do.

;)
I have a Sugar 2+

that I cracked the rear triangle on (common) and they replaced the triangle - painted it black as they don't do flippin' Green color anymore.
I also have recently discovered a crack on my 02 Sugar’s rear triangle. How did you make out w/ Fisher? What can I expect? Thanks
I also cracked the rear triangle on my 2003 Sugar 3+ around November 2004. Trek tried but couldn't match the Blue color. So they sent me a whole new frame including bushings.
It's a Stealth looking Black with just one little GF sticker(silver)on the downtube!

I am still waiting... :(

LBS tells me that they are sending me the rear triangle but it has now been seven weeks.

I am glad that I have a new StumpJumper that I can ride.

I found a crack in my 2001 sugar 1 3 weeks ago, at the chain stay in the swing arm, right at the cross tube. Took it in to a non LBS ( 45 mile drive) but one I knew handled alot of Fisher/Treks. They had a response from Fisher in 3 days , they took week to get it into paint ( black) and for 25 bucks the bike shop swaped it out, new bushings and gave me the old deraillier hanger to boot, back in the saddle again...

for what its worth, i like the black swing arm, gives the sugaree a bit of difference...
my dad needed his sugar frame replaced. it took a really long time (months) before it was assembled again. plain black with white lettering. no charge, but the wait could be a problem if that is your only bike.
LBS called today and the bike is ready. I will pick it up tomorrow after a 6 1/2 week wait. I am glad that I had another bike to ride.
Craked my rear triagle last tear on a 2001 Sugar 3, got a sugar race frame no charge, took about 5 weeks
