Did you/doctor crash it ? That might have something to do with it...
Looking at the photo it does look IMHO like a front wheel frontal impact compression fracture. (I am an automotive engineer working with metals, and no I don't have any connections with the big C ) Or a fracture from big jumps and flat landings. The leverage at the wheel pulls the forks forward and often opens the frame exactly like in the area you show, and not always immediatly on the same day. Usually closer to the head tube though. What height jumps/drops did you do ?
I thought the moto was an "All Mountain" machine and for me that excludes jumping, gaps, BIG drops to flat etc. I will look at my Moto manual...
Take a look at the Perp or the Judge and the frame weights - there is more metal in the right places... bigger forks, for a reason.
Bummer... I feel for you, I bought my Moto frame 2nd hand too. I don't jump though, horses for courses.
