cozz's carver Ti O'beast build, NOW finished with PICS

well, so my fatbike history goes
1)Surly Pugsley
2) 9zero7 with carbon W bros fork
and now
3) Carver Ti O'beast

I nearly bought a titanium road bike last year, but went for a custom steel frame instead, but always liked the look of Ti
Few months back I bought a BUD & LOU (first in the UK) and can't get one in the back of my 907 (I knew i prob wouldn't)

Thought about getting a moonie - but didnt want to go back to a 35lb bike after riding the 907

So trying to build a carver (thanks to tim at sideways)that'll take bud/lou for winter and BFl's for summer

First off - needed some colour to rims (as frame is quite bland) - bougth red hope fatsno hubs, and sent rims off to AEROCOAT in Great Yarmouth to be done in Candy Red - the finish is amazing, best powder coating I've seen, cost was £60 plus £10 shipping back to me(cheekily chucked some bars in to (more of that later)

so heres the wheels

marge lites, hope hubs, hope skewers, chrome finish duck tape, Michelin tubes, BFls

It not all built yet, but might have a few more pics later

right guys - heres the pics

as built its just over 29 lbs -and thats with 4.7 tyres
It doesn't clear 1,2,3 rd on granny ring, so a middleburn x type double is on order - so that will drop some weight from current set up

Im really pleased - Its like a titanium moonlander - except better !!!!!!!!!!
