Did anyone else ride in the Corporate Challenge bike race last night? I put some slicks on my bike, pumped up the shock as much as I could and hoped I wasn't the only one there on a mountain bike. As it turned out, I was strictly average, but I did come away with a silver medal and 8 points for the Water District

I was on the lookout for anyone there that I knew... but I didn't spot any of you guys.

Corp Challenge

The year I bought a road bike my company stopped participating. I was all excited to race after I saw all the photos of the mtbs racing on the pavement and thought I could do pretty well.

Indirectly, yeah. I work for Parsons, who are the construction management contractor for SNWA, but I spend all my time indexing and scanning paperwork for the LVVWD database. We used to compete as Parsons in the Corp Challenge, but they could never get enough people so we all joined together under the LVVWD umbrella.
