Hi:

I Want to ask if is possible convert a Kona Unit 29 ss to a gear bike?, is a pretty bike, but i want more speed!!! i have a Sram X0 from my old bike, and i don`t want to sell this.

you can buy the slider from Kona with a der hanger. I don't think the unit has the cable guides but something should be able to be figured out. Awesome bikes, i love my kula!

I've seen the slider dropout on ebay with hangers, too. But yeah, Kona makes the dropout you need. Just run full length housing and zip tie it to the frame, easy enough.
