Hey guys I am currently converting an old sears bike to a SS with a 700 flip flop wheel. Here is my problem, The tire I was going to use is too tall and I was wondering if there are shorter tires that would fit in this space, and even better if you got any suggestions.

You could try a cyclocross tire in the rear. Not much experience with that but that looks like a tiny bit of clearance. Hopefully someone else will chime in with suggestions.

Know any framebuilders that could move that up a little for you?
