Has anybody converted their external bb bearings to 3 piece crank?

Or know if it is possible?

I would say external bb bearings are a stable set up and at slower speeds they are fine but seem to slow after a certain speed. Not to happy with the external bb bearing related problems either and literally think they are a drag!

I am not looking to start a debate about his just curious if anyone else has done this or feels the same. Currently using FSA Megaexo. Thanks!

You need to remove the bottom bracket cups and just install a standard bottom bracket with matching arms. If by conversion you mean changing the integrated spindle cranks to use a conventional bottom bracket then the answer is NO. The spindle is a permanent member of the crank arm.

I meant to completely convert over to a three-piece crank / bb and new cranks.
Thanks!
