I am thinking about trying the new Conti Mountain Kings and I think that I will choose the supersonic version but I am a bit surprised by the low weight and fear that t is prone to flats. I ride in Denmark where it is mostly forest and no sharp rocks but i am not interested in having any flats. My old Nobby Nic only had one flat for three years which is very nice :)

What is your experience with the supersonic version - do they puncture easily?

I have tried the supersonics. With no joy. Puncture easy. Their web site does warn it. I stick with 'edge' protection. Also I run 30 psi or less. Not had any puctures with protection conti's:)

yeah.. the supersonic are "race" tires..they are ultra light, but you have to be a bit careful in hard terrain, but since you say thare are no rocks on your trails, you might be able to get away with them.

if you don't mind a bit of extra weight go for the "regular" ones or the ProTection....
