Are you thinking steel bead or foldable?

The steel one I have is a bit heavy. I think it is OK, except on wet rocks and roots.

I run Diesel Protections for 2 years now on my everyday trailbke, they are ok for the road or hardpack when dry. On dry rocks when riding really slow.

Anything wet or muddy and they will slide away. Pinch flats are common as they dont build that high, compared to a RubberQueen or BigBetty.
These tires may be ok for dirt riding and in very dry conditions with no rocks and no loose soil.
Better buy RubberQueens or MuddyMary or 2.5 Nevegals.
