Well, I'll answer your question about climbing. That is what has impressed me the most about this bike, and I've only had it for 4 days!. The suspension is entirely active when you are climbing, however pedal-bob is nearly non-existant. It *might* not be as plush going uphill as your FSR, however downhill it would easily tromp the FSR in a plushness comp IMO.TM1 said:Hi all,
I'm considering joining the tribe on a 575.
I'm 6'2" X 200lbs. guess I need a L size (?). I ride all trails, not jumping more than 3' but flowing everything ...
I have some Q's that trouble me about the suspension design:
How stiff is the rear ? say compared with Heckler or BLT ?
While climbing, does the suspension stay active ? do you find it "harsh" when hitting sharp edges while pedaling ? I ride a FSR and I'm spoiled ...
Is brake-jack an issue with the 575 ?
Brake Jack dosn't seem to be an issue at all. I came from a Stumpy hardtail, and I havn't noticed any braking difficulty at all.
