if anyone can help me i'm sure i'll find them here.
i want to go to a rigid fork on my SS but i am confused about how to measure the AC length on my current fork. i know it is taken from the center of the axle but am not sure where to measure from the crown. top of crown (just under rece) or from the bottom of the crown???

Measure center of the axle to the crown race seat -- top of crown.

you will also want to take into account the sag of your fork... right?
so subtract however many mm of sag from the unspring AC measurement.
