Anyways, they took an age to get on, i got through 2tube and 3levers, there rear was all over the place on a short ride despite using seating wax and taking them up to 80psi, in the ride id somehow lost 6 grips and i didnt skid once, also thread was coming through the casing. I didnt notice them being anymore grippy than my tioga sls on the singletrack, didnt bounce as much but the nokians ar fatter. Acceleration didnt feel as snappy either as with the tiogas, In the end i put my old tioga on the rear and left the front.
I went on a ride a got a punture on the front, nightmare!, i again almost knacked my tyre levers but got if off and on just. On pumping up the tube it was coming through the bottom of the side wall, ARGH!, because i needed to use so much damn force to get them off the levers had cut through the rubber to the metal at the bottom of the side wall so the pressure from the tube was able to do the rest of the damage and came thorugh the side, also yet again i noticed a number of grips had dissapered and thread were coming through casing. I then had to walk for 2hours to get to the road
On the plus side though, there were lighter than claimed, they did seem to roll quickly and they do look nice for hanging my bike off
Overall - These tyre seem to be low quality compaired to my tioga sls which were much cheaper, maybe it due to steel bead but it doesnt matter as i got some new tiogas on the way
