Computer question

They ALL can be set for 29" tires (most will go up to at least a 40" diameter). You need to do a rollout for an accurate calibration. The tire size charts are not even correct for most 26" tires.

That said, I have switched to a Garmin Edge 305 GPS computer. Never needs to be calibrated for tire size.

Any computer will work on a 29er, you'll just need to calibrate it. (i.e. input circumference)

Can't help with a basic computer as haven't used one in a long time. I do use a Garmin 305 (GPS based) once in a while, but it's not basic.
