Hello everyone, I'm trying to find a nice pair of tires for commuting/urban and going to work. Really just road, concrete, and some grass. I like these so far, what do you guys think? I figure I could just put on slicks for going to work and commuting, then when I hit the trails on the weekends I could swap out for my treads. Btw, my bike is a Trek X-Caliber 7 29'er. That's exactly what I have on my commute. Never had any issues with Geax Evolution2. They are cheap and work well.

I've put a pair of these on an old drop bar road bike and have taken it on some fairly mild dirt and pavement. They actually work better on both surfaces than I thought.

I'm riding an X-cal 8 trying to get back into shape so I've been riding a lot more paths and decided to swap my knobby tires for a set of these continentals. They are doing everything I need so far but only have ~30 miles on them so far.

I'm using the 700x42 which is also shown as 28 x 1.6 and the only surface that has given me problems so far is deep/soft sand.

Hookworms I have them on my gravel grinder. Its a great tough, high PSI, Wide, and smooth tire.
