Coming to Las Cruces for a week!

Hey guys,
I'm going to be working near Las Cruces (Anthony) March 16th till 25th. I'm planning on bringing my bike & getting some decent riding in.

Wondering if anyone would be interested in a decent ride that weekend & showing me some trails?

I'm a decent technical rider (don't do crazy drops/jumps), didn't kill myself last year in Durango & Moab for a week haha. Might be a bit slower than usual due to the crappy weather we've been having lately around Indiana though

There is a nice bike race in El Paso on that Sunday.

After the time change, there will be Tuesday evening rides at the Dona Anas, meet up to roll out at 6.30pm. Map/directions

There are also some good trails in NW El Paso that are close to Anthony and that you might be able to hit after work.

This! :thumbsup: The trails are mucho fun, and you will meet some EXCELLENT people. And sometimes we partake in cold adult beverages afterward. Ah, that reminds me, I'll have to make some more salsa to take out there this year. Just make sure that if you aren't running tubeless with some Stan's that you have slimed tubes. We have aggressive vegetation down here.

Thanks guys! I'll see of my work schedule allows for that group ride, sounds cool. Yep tubeless with stans.

Glad to see you're still alive and riding. Rode Dona Ana twice in the last two weeks, and once right after the snow (Sweet). Starting to get a tan again. Do you usually do a group ride on Tue.? Maybe I can time it right. Dona Ana trails still in my top 10 list.

Tuesday are all right for riding. Folks meet up after work, roll outs 6.30 pm mas a menos

Chilled post ride refreshments are oft enjoyed and seldom refused.

There's plenty of dirt road to park on, I reckon. Now, if as many show up as when the Hustle is on, parking could be an issue.

But, I always enjoy meeting people from other places and shooting the breeze with them out there.

One Tuesday, the horse people parked trucks and trailers in the lot on a Tuesday nite. Things got crowded and awkward.

It's gonna be another great year. I think we should kick off the new season with some grilling.

That would give me a good excuse to make salsa and bring some chips. I just might have to have people sign a disclaimer before eating it - depending on the quality of the jalapenos.

Just thought I'd put it out there that I'm now in town until Wednesday. I'd love to hit up the SST if anyone else is interested. And is there a group ride in the DA's on Tuesday?
