Comfortably Number and Young Lust video

This past weekend (through Tuesday) my girlfriend and I were riding both the valley trails and the bike park at Whistler. While doing our valley ride we shot some video. Check it out if you haven't ridden Comfortably Numb nor Young Lust before. Great rides. Unfortunately the light ran out before the trail did, so we missed the best features.

We're headed to Sun Valley this week for some riding and we'll do some filming there. Any feedback would be appreciated. Each one gets a little better. Lessons from this one thus far:

1. Aiming down a bit more on the helmet camera stunts was fun, but aim it back up for the faster stuff.
2. Change around the shots more. Too much helmet camera.

I can post in lots of different formats. iPod video is MPEG-4 which plays in Quicktime/iTunes. Which format would you like?
I got it working

I didn't know Whistler had XC Trails like this!

Pretty cool!
Didn't know I could watch them in Quicktime... I'll give it a try, thanks.

error

I tried to watch it in Quicktime and I got this error message:
great video ! if you dont mind me asking what camera set up are you using ? and what song is that?
The song is Gomez, How We Operate

dunno about the video
Nice work. We posted up some pics and a writeup further down the threads here in Passion. Just a small correction - the entire trail from Wedge parking lot to Wedge Creek is Young Lust. Comfortably numb starts after Wedge Creek. Foreplay/Secret trail is the name of the section of downhill towards the end

I'm running the Adventure 3 with the Sony camera from Viosport. Here I ran the standard lens and the 80% filter for the helmet shots. I've been reasonably happy with it. I can still enjoy the ride and film some stuff from the helmet.

Great video's, i was just out in fruita and it is cool to watch those trails on your video. I prefer the sections of video where you are following a rider, i think it shows the trail/speed a bit better.

i've been checking out the viosport camera's and my question is what are you recording down onto?
I'm recording onto the Sony video camera that they sell as part of their package. I'm happy with it and the Viosport. They make a good combo.
Cool vid!! I opened it up in VLC media player. Those rails were cool riding on from a helmet cam view. 1 tip, don't cross wet logs at an angle. good riding.
