I have a clear carbon Mojo classic that needs a bit of color. Fork is black. Saddle has white on it, grips are white. I need a new wheelset and I'm thinking about a couple of options:
1. Hope Hubs in Gunsmoke laced to black rims with Gunsmoke seat collar and skewers
2. Hope hubs in Black laced to white rims
3. Hope Hubs in Blue to black rims
I would appreciate any feedback on this and perhaps some pics of classic mojo's with color. I'm especially interested in how the Gunsmoke color would look on the Mojo if anyone has a pic.
For some reason I cant get on teh mojo pics thread

thanks

I like the idea of white rims but how do they hold up in the looks department ? I am also tempted to go with white hubs but dont know who makes them
I'm currently having fairwheelbikes.com build me a wheelset, almost went with white rims but doing some research found out that white rims stain badly and don't look good for long.
They have Tune hubs in white, very light hubs as well. They also affored me custom rim decals, so you could go for white decals on black rims. The price they offered me is cheaper having them build the wheels than if I'd purchased everything myself and built them.

Paint it in mud

Don't get me wrong, but do you ride your bike or just look at it? Go ride, get it dirty, and then look back at it and smile. If I asked my riding buddies what color I should get on my bike they would pull my man card.

Sorry I had to just give you a hard time about this.

Not sure if you're responding to me or the OP, but loving your bike like a hot piece of babe/man-flesh (depending on your particular tastes) and driving it relentlessly until it collapses at your feet are not mutually exclusive activities. I like to indulge in both as often as possible. The whole reason I repainted was that the original finish was completely thrashed -- from riding, not loving, that is.

But thanks for letting us know how tuff & studly you are. I'm sure your man card is in safe hands.
