cold weather storage

I keep my 6 month old (to me) reba equipt 29r SS in the covered bed of my pickup. Now that the cold weather is here, I was wondering if keeping the bike on its side combined with cold weather could have an effect on the fork and/or seals because of the oil lying along the sides of the tubes instead of at the bottom? I just had the fork rebuilt under warrenty and have a haunting feeling about longevity.
