I'm ready to buy a rear shock for my Supervee/Jekyll hybrid and I'm after a rear shock. I can get hold of a brand new Vanilla R for next to no dollors but I'm wondering if it's OK to use a coil-over with such a 'feeble' looking arm? Personnaly i can't see any problems, there will still be the same amount of force acting on it from an air shock (I'm not a little guy!!!). Suggestions please.

You shouldn't get problems with such a set up. You'll get more reactivity and even reliabilitéy with a coil shock. But if you can get a vanilla RC in place of the vanilla R, it would be even better
