I thought I'd get this one out here for information dissemination. Absolutely the hardest, toughest 100 mile race out there. It's real easy to get to - just off I-25 a few miles south of Santa Fe, and it's free!

It consists of 3 loops from a central area (an apple orchard) so you can restock yourself after each lap.

Last year there were ~70 starters and 2 finishes on a dry course with no rain! This course won't claim toughness just because of the weather and soil conditions, thats for sure. Tough rocky and rooty singletrack and dirt roads that make you want to cry they are so beat up and gnarly.

Wish I was in shape to do this! No way...I'm just recovering from surgery, and learning how to ride my rigid SS. Baby steps...maybe next year. Thanks for turning me on to a great series of rides I didn't know existed, literally in my back yard:)
