I'm 6ft. and 230lbs, and I think it has come time to change the wheelset on my Singlespeed(brodie unibomber). I have a disc compatible fork on the front, but no mounts in the back. I am thinking of giving the bike a mullet, and wonder what you guys would recommend.

I'm a college student, so I can't afford CK or anything too bling, but wouldn't mind spending a few extra bucks now for longer life. A handbuilt set for $500 or so would be nice, but let me know if that's just the crack talking.

I weigh 220 lbs and currently use XT hubs on mavic XM 317 disc and have had no issues.. I am thinking of upgrading to Hope Pro2s, but only because the wheelset on my 575 has made me addicted to them

the DT swiss rims ROCK! They're cheap. $69 or so for the 5.1ds and really quite sturdy.
