Clunky F80x

I have a 2006 Fox F80x, and the initial hit is always clunky. Once the gate opens up, the travel is smooth again. My F100X is not nearly as rough when the inertia valve opens up.

I had the fork rebuilt a couple month ago, and the mechanic said he cleaned out the terralogic assembly. Are the F80x always clunky, or is there anything wrong with my fork?
